In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be sent to
Cumberland School of Law or The Alabama Wildlife Association.
Matthew McLain was a 2002 graduate of Huntsville High School and Rhodes College in Memphis, where he was an English major. He was in his first year of law school at Samford University's Cumberland Law School.
"Matthew had hit his stride in law school and was proceeding to become a very productive and successful citizen," Scott McLain said. " He also was a great guy with many friends."
