Info: D. Scott McLain, CCIM: Scott is Principal and Managing Broker of the firm, and has been active in commercial real estate for more than 26 years. He is the active at the state and national level in the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and has served as a member of Coldwell Banker Commercial’s National Advisory Board. He is also Chair of its global Retail Group. McLain is a retail developer, advocate for downtown redevelopment, and proponent of adaptive reuse of existing real estate improvements. Very active in local, state, and national civic, political, and professional activities, McLain holds a degree in Public Policy from Duke University and a Juris Doctor degree from Cumberland School of Law. He is also a graduate of the Harvard Graduate School of Design Advanced Management Development Program (AMDP) in commercial real estate. McLain has several times been named Coldwell Banker Commercial’s top producer in the State of Alabama.
